Rotary Encoders give random values on Digitakt 1

I started using my Digitakt after a few months break, and noticed when I press encoder “A” and “C” I get random values on their assigned parameter. This happens after I’ve selected [FUNC] and said encoder at the same time. These parameters only change after a few presses.
For example, I press encoder A and the “Pitch” value changes from “0.00” to “4.97”. A few presses later and it changes to “3.6”. Because this is so random, I believe this to be a defect.
Has anyone experienced this?
Is this a hardware issue or a firmware issue?
I’m really surprised!

It’s probably that the encoders have a little dust in them. Try blowing with canned air and giving them a really good wiggle. My DT has a similar issue on the F encoder and that seems to fix mine.

I sprayed the encoder with CRC duster on both sides of the PCB, and it didn’t seem to work.
Might need to get some replacement parts.
