What’s a “csr”?

Or do you mean…

I’ve started working on it, maybe have time to finish it this weekend, will ping you here when done.

You’ll come back either appreciating what it does or realizing you can live without it. It’s dub either way you slice the cake.

I just plugged the Alpha Base II back in, and I have a whole new appreciation for the sound; the quirks, not so much. But that’s where the other kits come in to play.

Right on. Thank you if you manage to get around to it.

I know most of you don’t use Song mode but if you could confirm the issue I’m having that would be awesome. I’m on 1.13 and also did factory reset just in case.

In clean project I create one pattern with 2 variations, very simple with default kit.
Edit the song and add that pattern in two song parts. Name the song and confirm it’s playing ok.

Turn off machine and turn it on again. Is song still there?

Thanks :stuck_out_tongue:

actually had to check if my car is worth as much as the tr1000 and its worth double in the end!

In your description I don’t see the word “Save” anywhere.

Songs are part of projects. Did you save your project?

Do you mean Backup? or Export Project? Because I don’t see other way to save project. And I did try export and also backup, and restored backup and imported project and Song is not in any of them after. Any other way to save project?

Write = Save in Roland parlance.

Hit Shift-Copy to access the Write Menu. Scroll down and choose Project.

Holy crap that’s why I couldn’t find it in the Reference manual. I was searching for Save. Hahaha. Thanks a bunch, you saved me

hi! how to audition a sound (e.g. the snare, or the bass drum)? i must be blind!

Don’t know if it’s the only way but I put my TR in Inst-play mode then hit the button for the channel I’m auditioning on

Put it in Inst Play mode and hit the button for the track you’re assigning

Just joined the party :black_heart:

Am I overlooking something or is it still not possible to have different resolutions per track? Like master 1/16 but HHs 1/32?

I think that’s currently a Pattern setting only (see Scale under Pattern Settings).

Can’t you just use substeps and the ability to define last steps for individual tracks?

thanks all; i was wondering;
I saw you can import samples via the TR-1000 app. this seems the easiest way but:

does it bring anything ‘extra’ when you record samples to the TR-1000 via the external inputs? is there some juicyness/crunchyness when doing this? or is it just ‘clean’ recording?

The Behringer LM drum for instance, is 12 bit so it does affect the sound when recording on the device itself

Short followup on this since I finally got this beast. The shift button position is hard to get right indeed. BUT… it fucking blew my mind when I discovered that you can map the foot switch to act as shift button. I own this machine for only two days and it triggered so many WTFs for me already… in a good way. LOVE IT.

Are you using a momentary or latching foot switch? I’m unsure which one of the Boss ones to get … FS-5U or FL-5U

So my TR-1000 has arrived at the store and they’re asking me to pay the balance before shipping it to me. After reading about all the issues I’m in two minds whether to cancel my order. I’ve also not seen any demos that inspired me. If I buy this I also need to sell a ton of stuff to justify the price tag, although I do need to shed some gear as I have way too much sat unused. What’s the general consensus here. Is the TR-1000 worth the money? Do you think they’ll sort out all the issues/crashes? Should I get it or wait until next year when the dust has settled? Yay or nay?
