Kit changes cause a gap, not a skip or a lag.
As master in all tracks mode there is no flamming on any tracks using the internal sequencer. In layered gens mode with internal sequencer, there is some flamming in non-layer tracks.
If you’re not even syncing but just triggering the drums as a drum module, sample tracks lag non sample tracks by 8ms in any mode according to MikeAcid, but since I have not done this I cannot confirm.
I’ve only run as master in all tracks and have had only tight sync slaving other synths and sequencers. I’ve also clocked and triggered non CV gear with no noticeable lag or latency, but it’s not the best for that (clock is free running).
