This is the problem I have with samples.
These are both factory samples and user samples.
Analog, ACB, PCM are fine.
Quick test. Sound on BD track panned left. Sound on SD track panned right.
In All Tracks mode
This is using the internal sequencer. Triggering a BD and SD track on step 1.
ACB left, user sample right:
In Layered Gens mode
ACB left, user sampler right:
With Layered Gens ANY sample on ANY track is always delayed by 8msec
Most of the time you barely notice it when using different types of samples but trying to layer an analog kick with a sampled low tom sounds better in All Tracks mode than in Layered Gens mode for example.
So this is why I’m using All Tracks mode with the higher latency.
