Ya it’s those sub settings that do it. Same issue here. But I found power off or recal helped.
Roland uses those BMC chips in a lot of modern hardware, so it doesn’t day anything about upcoming features.

My inference is from the fact that they added a lot of features to the SP, it uses the same chip and is the basis for the sampler in the 1000.
For now I was able to get a new 404 mk2 at 35% off so I’m going to pair it with the 1000 and my other machines. Should be a nice combo.
Also they showed a lot of update love to the 404 so I’m quite confident we will see the same with the 1000. It’s really in just the early stages.

Skip back sampling, and using a midicontroller is a game changer with with SP. Or an Elektron sequencer.

One would hope! I don’t want it to become yet another Roland product where the features outgrow the form factor so I’m in the camp where I think it would be bad if they tried to make it do everything but there’s some small tweaks they can make to bring the sampling up to speed.

Decided to share one more recording - almost 1.5 hours of improvised techno with the modular setup and the TR-1000. The more I play with this combo, the more it grows on me.

Can you create a good techno rumble on the tr-1000, or are you still better off creating one in your daw and importing as a loop. Just wondering how well you can control sound in the tr
Hello everyone.
I received my TR-1000 and I’m happy with it, but three of the buttons are loose. Have you experienced this problem? When I turn them, I feel a clicking sound, which isn’t pleasant.
Is there a way to fix this without using the warranty?

Never seen a video of this guy before but he was really good and not annoying for even a second- tone sincere. I like his presentation a lot!

If you bought it new then contact the vendor and ask for a replacement.

Does anyone have info about general availability of these?
I ordered my TR-1000 from zzounds last month. At that time it was showing an expected ship date of mid-December and I got a decent discount, so I jumped on it. However, this week the shipping estimate has changed to mid April (!). I’m pretty annoyed. Is it this bad everywhere?

Check directly with them as the date shown on the website is probably for new orders.
