Have this issue of Rytm not reacting to some hits sent from Roland SPD SX via midi. The hits register on the SPD, but some (for example 1 in 20 strikes) just do not sound, or trigger. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Been scratching my head for a while over this…
Sounds very similar to something I experienced last night. I was sending a single note arp pulse from OT to AR high hat and every so often it would skip a note/beat and sound like there was a trig mute. I noticed that the “mute” wouldn’t even be on the same step every cycle. Turns out I had the arp note length at 0 and increasing it to 1 or 2 would make every hit sound. Was to tired to look for further details…
Have no experience with SPD and don’t know if it’s related, but if your note length is uber short maybe try increasing it a little…
I experienced the exact same thing as you. I talked with support and they have yet to correct the problem. On the forum I worked with others to get a functioning work around.
