Roland FA-06 Owners?

I am interested in buying this guy mainly because its sequencer and 16 midi/stems export…

What i wanna hear from you guys is this:

How is sound programming from scratch?? Too hard?? Fun??
Sound quality overall?? Too digital? ( I dont mind digital, but from demos it sounds plastic)
Export quality??
Keyboard feel?

P.S. Dont have a chance to try it myself.

im sorry if im wrong but what i know about the fa-06 is that it´s a rompler , so i think (not sure) you can´t create your own sounds from scratch… but correct me if im wrong

I used synths for creating my sounds for so long now, that i totally forget about the term: “Rompler” :)… didnt even cross my mind…

Okay, lets change that first question to: Are there enough good sounding synth patches to edit and play??

What makes people think you cannot create your own sounds from scratch with a rompler ?
You get a tonne of raw waveforms and what is essentially a XV5080 synth engine thrown in for good measure.
You also have the articulated composite modelling in the SN-A (Supernatural Acoustic Engine) - which sounds excellent and the SN-S Supernatural Synth Engine which is identical to the Virtual Analog Engine in the Integra-7 and Jupiter 80 -
3 oscillators 3 x amp eg’s, 3 x Filter eg’s, 3 x 2 stage pitch envelopes, 1 modulation LFO and 1 extra LFO per oscillator with ring modulation, sync, pam, pink & white noise, 4 different LP filter types + parking, HP and BP filters etc etc and nearly all the waveforms from the D50, Supersaw and variable types of Tri, Saw and Square.
The XV engine is slightly different in structure with FXM (amplitude modulation) sync, TVF,TVA,Pitch EG and Filter per partial with the ability to have Left/Right stereo oscillators per partial in a patch, with LFO’s, Step LFO, MFX etc (essentially the XV5080 engine in a keyboard).
I don’t know what the AD/DA converters are like compared to the Integra-7 either and I am not to sure if it has SPDIF out - I work with mine that way using rather high sample rates. It may not be to everyones taste but it replaced my JV1080, D550 and JD990 racks quite comfortably.

I don’t know how it compares too the Integra but large chunks of this track of mine - including the drums where done using the Integra-7.

(Piano, soft juno styled pads, odd muted trumpet thing and acoustic drum kits are all Integra 7) - mind you there is also Analog 4 (synthetic lo-fi percussion), Reaktor Processed MnM, MS20 Mini and Microbrute for good measure).

If you use just the SN-A and SN-S voices you can do a lot - very nice pad machine also and not too shabby at basses / leads and percussive synthesis if you reign the FX in.

Just wanted too add I wouldn’t use all Integra / FA based sounds in track but when layered and processed correctly they can certainly sound great in the context of an entire mix.

I have questions about fa-06 integration with OT sequencer.
How synth responds with program change messages from OT?
Is there possibility to use synth to record patterns via MIDI to OT ?
Is there any “patterns” in roland sequencer ?
I mean, I’m thinking to replace my Keystep Pro(which is my main sequencer for now), 'cos i don’t like it’s tiny keyboard. These questions are crucial to me, if I’ll get rid of KS Pro. Thanks.
