Yes I’m running the latest think it was 1.02
Thanks so much for taking the time and testing it out! I’m going to try it again, and check with roland if it doesn’t work

This appeared on Reddit, along with no actual news and just a rambling rant from the OP. As there’s no news or any other info anywhere, I’m guessing this a photoshop and/or the figment of someone’s imagination

yeah you can see the J-6 blue in the bottom left corner
The print on the layer button looks like fake. Also, gray is not part of the Aira Compact color palette.
Booooooo! ENV MOD looks terrible, and you can see the awkward black painting around the button
Somewhere burried in the snarky comments the OP says “I specifically said I photoshopped it myself”
I’d missed that, same as 99% of people replying on Reddit
Yeah, I can’t even see where OP originally said they photoshopped it. So I’m not surprised you missed it!
God people on the internet are weird (not you dshipp!)
In fairness, leaving out dedicated env controls is so convincingly Roland that it offsets any concern about colour palettes and recycled assets.
LOL, why would Roland make a T-3 when they already made the T-8, plus no env mod, no decay, internet knobheads have too much time on their hands I guess.
I might be looking wrong but it seems like there are no images online that show Compacts and Boutiques side to side. Curious how much smaller the S-1 is to the SH-01A. Anyone have / can share a picture?
The dimensions are available in the specs listed online. Just grab a ruler and some scrap paper and a pencil and mock up footprints. I do this more than I probably should.
I am considering a T-8 to go with my Micromonsta 2. So there is no motion sequencing, no p-lock and I understood that you also can’t save things like Drive that you have dialed in. So it just remembers hits and notes?
That’s it: you can’t save kits or sounds in pattern. The same sounds settings are shared through whole patterns, and can’t be recalled in anyway.
If you change cutoff, drive, delay, bass oscillator type, or anything, previous setting is gone.
That is not that much a problem for settings accessible from knobs on the panel.
But as lots of parameters are hidden in menu, that is can be a problem. It is for me, and I think of selling it because of this.
Yeah, I understand why that could be a frustrating thing. Still on the fence because of that.
Could someone help me with the following question regarding the Roland T8?
If I sidechain the bassline to the kick drum and then reduce the volume of the kick drum to 0, will the “pumping” effect of the bassline still be audible?
my favourite trance tune of all time. Definitely need to listen to this later.
Yes.
If you mute the bass drum, the bass synth will not duck🦆, but if you simply turn down the bass drum volume knob it will indeed. Just tried.
Makes me wish you could also apply this to the mix in!
