Ripcord - will it work!?

I got this one or two years back and it did work with my OG Digitone & Digitakt. Haven’t tried it yet with the MK2s. Is it safe??? Thanks in advance.

Which Mk2s?

The one you have there will only put out 12W – enough for the DTII and DNII but not any of the Analog models.

Yeah I mean the dt2 and dn2

12W would mean 12V x 1A.
I think DNII and DTII need 12V x 2A = 24W.

Edit: my bad, these are the PSU specs.
The manual talks about 7W needed for DNII, you should be good.

It works, I use it often with the DN/DT MK2.

Thanks mate, having a traumatic memory that goes like 20 years back when I plugged the wrong psu to an midi controller and it literally blew… and lots of smoke… ever since I tripple check everything, imagine how long it takes for me to check the eurorack modules before I install them haha

Both from same battery?

Ahahah It’s always better to be safe than sorry!

Are you asking if I can powered both the DN2 & the DT2 from the same powerbank? if so then no, I use two separate powerbanks for each. I don’t have a powerbank with enough juice to power them both.

But technically if i have 2 Mywolts/ripcord cables coming from a same power bank with enough juice, it could work?
i have mywolts and Baseus 65w 28k mAh with 2 ports(one usb c one usb a) able to deliver this juice.

I think so, I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t.

Nah I use them solo, like one at the time. I only have one rip cord cable …
