On my side I don’t use part because bank change is my preferred way of working.
I don’t feel the need of having a project completely full.
I have never seen the limitation of the static vs flex, I’m sure it exist but I have never push a static to it’s limit. Sure at some point the CF might hit it’s limit. But never suffered from that.
I have near never used more than two LFO on the OT per track.
I don’t use master track, I have used it to see what can be achieved but most of the time I don’t need it.
I don’t think my music will be better using all the Swiss Army knife of the OT. And I will enjoy more the OT by using those tool.
In the end my best track are made on my MPC or my Rythm with a workflow which use few functions of the box.
I’m convinced lots of great track are made on the OT with really simplified workflow.
In the end it’s the sample material which matter not being a master of all the details like Cenk do in it’s video.
When I listen to some of my MPC project it could have been easily done on the OT.
