Has anyone ever tried getting exclusively rhythm box-type sounds a la the CR 78 or Minipops out of their Rytm for a kit or so>
I’m interested in approximating the Maracas, guiro, tambourine, and the tom sounds, wondering if anyone has had any luck using retrigger or resampling to approximate these types of sounds. Then again, I’m trying to rely strictly on synthesis to create them. I have the sample packs and dig em but i find there’s something too static about using them
