Resampling. Time limit? Only in Flex?

Hello

I’ve just found out you can resample huuuuuge chunks of audio from the internal main outputs into pick up machine mode, which is great…

I’m aware that Flex mode won’t let me use the whole file because of the ram limitation, but is it possible to place the sample on a trigger/use it in any other mode other than pick up? Static can’t access record buffers. Hmm.

I’m fairly certain pick up mode doesn’t use triggers.

Any help much appreciated, as always!

Save the sample. Load it to a static slot.

I think pickup machines use the flex recording slot for that channel so you can set a flex machine(on a different channel) to use the same buffer. don’t have my machine here so i can’t check now.

Kind of obvious when you think about it, like alot of the octatrack “quirks”.
