Replaced Octatrack knobs

I was wondering if anyone has had this done by Elektron and did it make a big difference. (I appreciate ‘wobbly’ knobs have been mentioned before on this forum).
My OT is still under warranty and Elektron have offered to replace them, my only question is do they just end up loose again over time. Mine still work fine, just the most used one’s feel pretty fragile, is this just how they end up after 12 months or so? Hard to compare what they should/just are like.

I had an old-used mkI MD with really wobbly knobs, sold it.
Now only my OT level knob has a tiny bit of L-R slop to it.
If you have heavy hands i imagine it will happen sooner than later.
I just try to be gentil and try not to think about replacing them until they need it.

Wobbling knobs is age showing, but not a pb per se. Thing is usually it’s the presage of knob Alzheimer, values skipping weirdly and all.

All of the A-J knobs on my A4 are pretty wobbly, that’s what I get for buying a cheap floor model. Still no issues with skipping values thankfully, I just treat them tender. I really don’t understand why they went with plastic instead of metal for the middle posts.
