replace Battery circuit board Machinedrum SPS-1UW+ MKII

Hi,
I have a Machinedrum SPS-1UW+ MKII and I’m having a problem with the battery’s printed circuit board. The battery has corroded so badly that it caused a short circuit on the bottom of the board, resulting in significant damage.
I’ve written to Elektron, but they’re on vacation and it’s taking quite a while to get a response.
Do you know if this board is available? Where?

The Machinedrum SPS-1UW+ MKII is a fantastic device, and I’d love to get it working again.

Hi! As far as I know, these boards are no longer available for purchase. You can send me a private message with detailed photos of the damage, and I’ll see if I can help you remotely.

Thank you very much for your reply, SyntheticJudah. My account on Elektronauts is new, and I don’t think I have the privilege of sending private messages yet.
The problem is that when the battery board is connected, the voltage drops to 1.5V. and we’ve come to the conclusion that corrosion in the battery has caused a short circuit.

I hope this can get sorted!

Anyone hoarding an md (or mono!) in a box in a cupboard/attic/garage thats 15/20+ years old…. Please take a look.

Unfortunately, the quality of the photos leaves something to be desired. It would be great if you could send me higher-quality versions via Discord (I saw that you had joined us, so I sent you a PM here).
