Rehearsal space East London/Walthamstow

Hi guys, wondering if any of you east Londoners heard of small rehearsal studios. I basically need a room with a decent set of speakers on which I could plug my sampler or laptop, a chair and a desk.

I have not enough room at home, full house, kids etc. Ideally somewhere I could go 2-3 times a week for a couple hours in the evening would be fabulous.

I’m kind of describing a pub, without the “decent speakers” bit.
I definitely need speakers though, I feel like doing everything on headphones doesn’t get me anywhere as every time I end up quickly checking on speakers what I spent a few hours doing on headphones it sounds crap.

I’m not in London but I’ve used Pirate studios in Glasgow a couple of times for exactly the same reason. They are a sort of chain of rehearsal spaces. They definitely have premises in London.
The one in Glasgow is pretty rough around the edges, sound isolation between rooms is far from perfect, but the small studios basically have a decent sized desk with a pair of HS8s. They also provide a Focusrite interface and a big Novation midi controller.
I’ve been down early Sunday mornings and it has been pretty quiet.
It was nice to be able to crank a decent set of monitors for a few hours!
Might be worth a look if there is one close enough to you.

The Premises on Hackney Road might suit. Not been there for a while but when I was living nearby we went to its Turkish grill restaurant on the regular. Great place.
