Hey guys, I’ve seen some DT’s around with red orangish dots on the screen.
Any idea what those are? Mine has it too.

It might be the filming cameras autofocus thats shinning a red dot onto the screen.
I have a physical red sticker on my screen.

the red colour on some Digitakts indicate that those specific units have faster processors than most of the regular Digitakt units.

Mine just arrived via UPS and has a red dot on it - what does it really mean?
Maybe that it has been properly verified.

Mine had the dot and the trig 1 didnt work. You might still be right though
Mine came without the dot. I only have a funky function key that’s a bit off and a replacement on the way. The plastic on top the screen stil seems to rise up, not enough glue I think. Not a reason for me to return it. Also because I don’t know when I’ll get another unit. I have no sticky buttons or other issues.
Mine came with a red dot too, and no problems, except from a stick pad that’s been easily fixed.
I’m starting to think Elektron is conducting a social experiment. Why else haven’t they clarified the red dot sticker mystery?

Hopefully it doesn’t mean that there are two hardware versions floating around…
