I just had a good hour or two of fun playing around doing this.
Basically I tried to recreate a sequence I had on the A4 on my MnM. Obviously they sound different but it’s really interesting when you then use the crossfader on the octatrack to fade between the two. Also using the crossfader to blend the sounds gives interesting results.
Try it out.
I’ll try an make a proper video later when I have a bit more time.

I made a little video before bed. I’ll upload it when I get home later today. It’s not a very good song or good performance but it’s was a fun experiment. Since I got the A4 I am finding that I can make the sounds I want easier on the A4 than on the MnM. So I figured I would do this to try and get my skills a bit better with the MnM. I still suck.
The A4 used the arp and so to get the same P locked Arp I was using on the A4 I had to seqeunce that part on the OT for the MnM.
Anyway I’ll post the vid later in our music and write up what I did. Maybe it’s interesting for some… I hope lol!
you’re not making it any easier to wait on my MnM. JRRShop needs to get the lead out and ship it already!

Nice! What machines were you using on the MNM?
I’m using super wave and digipro. Also used a tiny but of the lpf on the OT to take off the sheen of the MnM.
