Recording trigs with midi keyboard like a4

looking to get a digitone and im wondering if you can set trigs to certain notes in record mode on a midi keyboard like you can do on the analog four

Hello, I just wanted to ask whether it is possible to use an external keyboard to insert notes on trigs in Grid Recording Mode.
