Curious what others philosophy is on this. Do you solo the kick and mute all the others and then slowly do this for the rest of the instruments? Or do just record the stereo in and process it as a loop? It seems to me the latter method is tighter (midi drift), but you can’t individually process everything.
Im a “raw to tape” kinda guy. I just record the stereo outs and “perform” the whole track into the recording, I make sure everything is mixed right before hand, and the rest I just accept it.

Did someone try this using midi sync from your DAW? (digitakt as midislave). Is there latency/drift?
I’ve actually sync’ed it via Ableton Link (via iConnect Audio 4+ interface plus the Link to MIDI app running on a connected iPhone) and it works very well.
I use the A4’s input and go through OB and record a mixture of groups and single tracks on multi passes.
