It’s a shame we can’t live record and enter multiple midi notes on a step at separate times as the sequencer runs.
The issue is that If you want to sequence an external drum machine for instance, every time a step is overwritten, even if the step had a note on it, it’s overwritten with the last, single entered trig.
It’s ok for writing chords but makes writing a drum sequence with multiple hits on different midi notes per step next to impossible.
Hey, you could use several MIDI tracks set to the same MIDI channel and record each drum element on the a separate track. You would also be able to mute them individually.
