Recording note lenght when manualy triggering

I’m having a problem with OT. Hold value or note on/off does not record properly when manually triggering samples. All notes have the same lenght when they are played back. What am I missing? Tnx

Yeah, it doesn’t record the note length on the audio tracks… kind of a bummer… go into grid mode and p-lock each note to different lengths, or in live-rec mode you can twiddle the knobs and it records your movements.
This would be awesome to see updated so we can play our samples like an instrument without having to get all p-locky on it.

As a workaround, you can use a Midi converter (for instance a MidiPal) for this purpose: just map note off to amp vol 0. not perfect but works well. In doing so, you can also add velocity-sensitive recording and aftertouch, which I usually mapped to delay send
