Is there a way to record the MIDI information that you programmed into Analog Keys sequencer into a DAW via USB?
I have my analog keys already set up to receive MIDI on a MIDI track in Cubase, but it only records information played on the keyboard but not from the sequencer. I am apprehensive to use overbridge because it advises the user to not use audio outputs on the unit when using overbridge. I want to use my preamps and effects and I am unsure if I would need to unpatch all the audio outs in order to safely use overbridge.

I have done it in Ableton Live. Midi over USB should be working fine as long as you dont have Overbridge enabled. You just have to toggle the correct settings on the device. For example in Midi Config -> Port Config -> select output to USB. And in Track Config -> Enable Track Send Midi.

Thanks for the help, before posting I did go into the system folder and disable Overbridge and made it look at MIDI USB. When you say track configuration do you mean MIDI config > Channels > track 1 channel? I have my tracks outputting 1 to 1 and have Cubase is receiving each channel successfully, just not notes recorded to the sequencer.
I am going to open this up in Ableton to see if I can record off the sequencer there and export MIDI files to my preferred DAW. This is just a matter of cleaning up my work flow and not impeding the creative process with drawing MIDI in the box.
I’m also curious about how to do this properly. I’ve been able to do things like map parameters in Ableton to the A4MKII encoders, and play notes on the mini-keyboard, but haven’t had any luck sending sequenced data to Ableton.
Specifically, I’m wondering if it’s possible to send p-locked parameters to Ableton.
MIDI config > Channels > track 1 channel you will set the channel on where the midi will be sent.
on Track Config -> Note Setup you will be able to toggle “Send Midi” for a given track.
Unfortunately you cannot send parameter locks to Ableton, or any other device which receives midi. I understand you can do it with the Octatrack though.
