Recording midi notes from OP-1 to Octatrack

cross posting this from the OP-1 forum. can’t get it to work

has anyone managed to record midi notes on the octatrack coming from the OP-1? and would care to share how to do? OT to OP-1 communication works just fine. cheers

Yes, I use the Kenton Midi USB host. OP-1 to USB Host via USB Cable, MIDI out from Kenton to OT Midi in. Channel 16 on the OP-1. Auto channel set to 16 on OT.
The OP-1’s Sequencers are really fun for making creative ARPs and Random fun.

thanks - I have it all wired up using the iConnect midi and the communication def works.
I’m using channel 1. do you just press rec+play on the OT and it records notes from the OP-1? (thats what I’m doing and it doesn’t work for me so I figure I’m missing something on the OT side) cheers
