Recording from headphone output to Octatrack

It must be a noob question, but I’d want to make sure not doing something wrong.
Is it safe to plug a device (like Focusrite sound card) headphone output to Octatrack inputs (using y-jack cable, if stereo is necessary)? Won’t it hurt Octatrack’s inputs just because invalid impedance levels or something else?

You can do that, thats how I sample sometimes, as long as you keep an eye on the levels, don´t start with full volume. The Octa input indicators will show you if its to much (by glowing red).

Sound may be worse.

I sample from headphone out puts on my lexicon and other gear all the time, don’t stress it.
