Hey everyone,
I’ve been researching on how to create midi clips in ableton based on the tracks I produced on the DN2. It seems it’s extremely limited:
1: The only way is to first turn the track into midi (machine) and select the port.
2: If I use an arpeggiator, it won’t export the arpeggiated notes, only what’s on the sequencer itself.
How do you go about this? I wonder why Elektron didn’t make it easier to output midi that is being sequenced, if anyways the machine is already creating sounds based on that.
My only idea left is to simply record the audio into ableton and transform that into midi. What’s your approach here?
