You need something that will accept the input (stereo or mono) from the AR. Some computers have a hardware line input already in it. Most likely it doesn’t or it’s mic. You don’t want to record with a mic input.
So the other option is getting a USB Audio Interface:

Once you have the hardware and the drivers are installed for you computer’s OS, Ableton will be able to recognize the audio device (Preferences > Audio > YourDeviceName). You can then hook up your AR to the hardware and get Ableton ready to record.
Then the Ableton manual or forums can help you setting up to record. Some audio interfaces come with software, which can be a nice bonus. IMO, Cubase sounds better than Ableton for recording, but not as easy to set up (I end up using Ableton most of the time.)
