Record with Overbridge

hello everyone. A short question… is itt possible to record more than 16 steps with Overbridge in Ableton?
Thanks…

Yes

That’s pretty vague, what do you mean? Recording audio works just like setting up a resampling track for any other VST. it just happens to have streams for the tracks/channel pairs. You still need to change your patterns and play the box like you were playing in real life. if you’re pattern is 16 steps you’ll have just endless minutes of that 1 bar loop.

Here’s an old tutorial I made during beta that shows how to get the audio in

tranks for your answer. Sure, my question wasn’t complete ; when i make a pattern with more than 16 steps on my AR or on my DG, I don’t understand how to record in Ableton with Overbridge?
I hope my question is clear now.
Thanks

I mean you should just record you can change patterns, tweak knobs etc. ableton will just keep recording in the background. I record several minutes of performance then maybe trim and edit later. There’s no trick to it. You just record the audio lol

ok thanks a lot
