Record wet signal

hello everyone !! I bought a Digitakt and I’m very happy with it. Yesterday I tried to record all 8 tracks simultaneously, and everything went well! The only problem is that I couldn’t record the wet effects channel that each track contains simultaneously due to the reverb and delay. I can record tracks 1 through 8 and the master track simultaneously. Is there a solution for this? Because I only have the dry tracks.

Setting up Digitakt with effects on separate track

You want to access the system settings and go to audio routing. There you can mute the individual tracks going to the main out. They will still come in on OB on the individual dry tracks, but any effects you assign on the DT’s sends will still go to the main outs. Then in your DAW you’ll be able to mix levels as you please. Trying to get the isolated send effects when recording using overbridge

This is my way to go too. it is quite easy: settings > audio routing > route to main, and then press all the tracks buttons (1-8). they should go from green to red and in the “route to main” menu 2/10. notice that the page buttons for filter (delay) and amp (reverb) are green. now you get the separate tracks in your DAW and in the DT master track only the effects.

Hi, when recording with overbridge you can assign a new track for the FX and simultaneously record the wet signal only as one dedicated track. There is only 1 fx master track, they do not each have a dedicated fx per track, it is a send fx.

For digitakt 2 with 16 tracks, some DAWs have a limitation on the number of total tracks that you can record at once, but I think that 8 plus an FX track should be fine (I’m assuming that this is regarding DT1).

If you just want to record the FX out of the hardware’s main outs, you’ll need to utilize the audio routing portion of the menu and only route the fx to the main outs then track that individually.

For better assistance, be specific about which generation of digitakt and how you’re recording it.
