Record Trigs Armed after Stop Double Press

After stopping the sequencer with a double tap of the stop button all record trigs are armed.

Is this expected?

Is this preferred?

Can this be an option?

I had a good thing going. I had some live samples recorded. Using Function + Rec. Trig to set the unarmed trigs. Then Function + Yes to arm them when I wanted to record. I double pressed Stop to stop all sounds. Then when I went to play again my recordings were gone because I was recording every track again and didn’t realize this was the feature.

This is also partially to blame on how difficult it is to save recorded samples. Since it is tedious, I do this last and it takes several minutes to save, name, and assign samples. This has to be easier to save all samples.

double STOP press re-arming is an option you can activate/deactivate in PERSONALIZE menu

you can disable that (and more besides) under personalize settings in the system settings menu
i can only say this from a day2 noob perspective cos i just read it

[edit] someone else types faster than me !

Thanks! I never seem to look in that menu. I’ve owned this OT for a couple years. :zonked:
