Asking this as when I use a Thru machine in the record setup the recorded volume is lower than the audio played via the Thru machine.
I thought this was the best way to get a reasonably accurate way of getting a recording of what you are hearing, maybe I’m mistaken though.
I seem to get the best results selecting AB or CD in the record setup and have the input lights just going into red.
Curious to know if anyone’s worked out a foolproof method.
nb: All volume and gain settings are zeroed when I’ve been trying this.
