I need a little help please, I am trying to sample a synth going via a thru machine on Track 1 onto track 2 . I normally have no problems but now at the bottom of the record set up page the bar that shows the record progress is greyed out ! I have checked the RAM and I have 65mb left , what have I missed please

Post a pic of memory config screen.
It’s showing all my record buffers are empty and back to default , confit screen shows I have 65mb free. I can’t work it out. Input A and B are coming in from the digit one which is sequenced via midi from octa? Thanks
Is it possible that the spare memory is reserved for R1-R8?
I use dynamic recorders, and don’t reserve anything. That usually works fine
