Recommendations on electronic music production help books?

Hi. I’m just wondering if anyone could recommend good books or ebooks on electronic music production. I’m going travelling for a short while and want something to keep the mind active. I don’t think I can bring any machines with me.

Not necessarily hardware related but more on mixing and processing of sounds within a DAW is what I’m after.

Thanks in advance:)

I found this informative link just now geared more towards techno…

… but if anyone else has any suggestions I’d still love to hear;)

Sorry, no links (posting from mobile).

Secrets of House Music Production from Sample Magic is pretty good

Cheers. Not crazy about the music styles in this book… but I had a look through and it looks like a lot of the knowhow can be applied to any genre.

Many thanks!

Secreets of house music covers all the basics, it is kind of a Manual.

the Dance Music Manual is also good for the basics.

Any music style: Mixing secrets and Mixing Audio are great

Hello! Recommend you check “Good Musician” by Shadow Producers ([https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072M8QRLN]). It is by far the biggest glossary of all music production words, acoustics terms, EDM genres, audio engineering terminology, recording vocabulary, and electronic music theory definitions. Cheers)
