If you have an iPad, have a Look at the DM 2 drum machine, which now has a Drone Mode.
Even better is the new PPG Infinite by Wolfgang Palmā¦ Even if you do. not get it, you are never far away from a good ambient Sound with this synth.

Get a super cheap contact microphone and attach it to a pot lid for example. Deep space welcomes you (I know thereās no sound in space but who said we canāt imagine things 
)
Use field recorder everywhere you go and then filter out different frequencies at home. Microwave with flushed toilet water can take you to a different universe!
