Yes, lots if great advice and examples! I’ll lastly suggest to @umonox to also consider melodic structure in the traditional instruments and music of Eastern cultures: Use the pitch manipulating capabilities of the AK (sequenced or live) to inform another level. Yes, practice and to practise is key. There are entire other classical traditions and worlds of thinking about melody, pitch malleability, and the way that overtones interact.
