I’m using the arranger mode to create a continuous live set of backing tracks for my band.
Most of the songs are arrangements of samples that I mangle in real time. My drummer has a Machinedrum that he’s written tracks on that he then plays overtop of live.
As we were thinking of how to do our set as one continuous mix, without breaks in between songs, we decided to just record the drum tracks and drop them onto the OT with one-shot trigs. Then I can chain each arrangement together there, and set up some transitions between songs using resampling and scenes.
The problem I’m having is that because the drums are always on Track 1, even going from arrangement to arrangement the trigs never re-arm - I have to remember to hit Func + Enter during the transitional part otherwise the drums won’t start playing at the start of the next song.
Ideally there’d be a special function in the arranger to do this (and chaining for that matter, an equally big pain in the ass). Is there any way to do it beyond me having to remember to hit Func + Enter when it counts?
