Ratcheting sequences?

This is my first post on this forum, so hello to everybody! :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed:
It seems that Digitakt doesn’t have a function/option called ratcheting, but maybe there’s a kind of workaround or a trick which makes creating ratcheting sequences possible?
What is ratcheting? It can be heard as a characteristic kind of thrill. Technically it’s a sequencing technique where an individual note in a sequence has its envelopes retriggered multiple times, usually at a musical subdivision of the sequence’s tempo – such as playing 1/32 notes in the middle of an 1/8 note sequence.
Two examples:

And the more practical one: https://youtu.be/Dpp9ulYMBcc?t=2m1s

The feature youre looking for is implemented! Each trig can parameter lock retrigs, just hold the trig you want the ratcheting on and hit the up arrow to open the retrigger menu.

Great! I’ll try it as soon as I get home… hopefully, because I got Digitakt just yesterday and I’m overwhelmed by my first hardware and all these buttons.

Or you could turn loop on and length near the start and you can have a freer(instead of precise) element of ratcheting

I’m not sure what you mean. Could you explain it, please (possibly with a draw)?

Can’t draw.

Every track has a Start and Length. The start is the start, and the length is the length from the start.

If you turn loop on, then near overlap the two-you’ll get a drone because a small section of Audio is being played over and again- but if you place length NEAR it you’ll hear the sample but it’ll retrig kind/rachet

How has your attempt at ratcheting go with the first option?
