Rapid Sound Locks

Hello…

Try to search to see if this has been discussed before but couldn’t see anything.

When changing between sounds via sound locks does anyone else find it can affect the next sound in sequence and not trigger or sound correct - I know it’s rapidly changing a bunch of analog circuit parameters so this might be typical behaviour but wanted to check if it was just me or not?

If so any rules people have found I should stick to when using sound locks?

One thing I’ve noticed is that kick/bass sounds relying on filter resonance don’t like sound locks between them.

Yes I use a lot of swept resonance for kicks and sounds and I can imagine it can’t just reset the filter state like that and dump the res/feedback. Will have to experiment more with some pitch envelopes.
