Random sample start

Hi, on a 64 steps sequence, is there any way that the step 1 launch always the same sample, but a different start point? I’ve tried with an LFO (assigning the sample start) but most of the times always start at the beginning).

Any ideas?

Thanks!

the random LFO is bipolar, so some of the modulation is heading the wrong way if the default position from which teh modulation is determined is the start point

if a sample was 20 units long and you wanted to randomly start anywhere in teh first half, then put the depth to 5 and assign a start point to 5, then 0-10 would be the potential range

use a square LFO to determine the extremities when setting the depth, then swap to random

Thanks! I’ll try that.
