I think that’s the limit for re-sampling on the DT2. Fairly sure it will play longer loops if you create them elsewhere and transfer.

This thread from last year has a discussion about sample length when importing from Transfer. It seems like 59mb/just under 6 minutes is the max, but this may have changed in the ensuing months.
