Sounds great.
1200 smackers tho, yoikes

I love this synth / module. maybe sell my spectralis 2 to fund this,
 Nah I don’t think so.
I don’t want to part with it. But I really love this swarm osc morphing stuff

Jorg ftw. Doesn’t sound as nice as the Accelerator, I don’t think

Yes, definitely an interesting synth with a different approach
there is some stiff competition up to this price point, whether the swarm oscillator, comprehensive morph/modulate and fx will be enough for the extra £€$

Yeah but you get a real “synth luthier’s” machine.

Reminds me to buy their RT311 module

Very nice indeed but no more synths for me.

It has a different sound to it compared to others in that price range, which is very good. What makes me consider this as a possible purchase is that we can store patches with subpatches, which can be morphed.

This reminds me somehow on the Matrix 12 or Matrix Xpander, where a set of different patches could be used for different voices simultaneously
well polyphoncally too, but there seems to be some interesting analogy.

Sure?

That Morphing is very nice. Clavia has this on their Nord Synths too but not LFOable. So kudos to Jörg to add some nice unique selling Points! Sounds great, though the price Tag is hefty.
900€ for the Module only.

Anyone has an opinion on this synth? My local store has one at a great price. I will have to swap my Typhon in order to acquire this synth. I love the Typhon, is it worth it to swap it?

Not if you love the Typhon

What would you do with the Delta CEP A that you couldn’t do with the Typhon?

I’ve never used one, but Jorg did show me his eurorack swarm oscillator and filter at synthfest a few years ago, which I think are used in the delta cep a. To be honest they sounded amazing. I think the synth can be a little complicated to use but it has some unique features like the snapshots.

I don’t know yet but I’ll soon know the answer cause my local store will let me try it before I buy it. I had my eyes on this synth a couple of years ago but forgot about it until now. What I know about it is the Morph capability (between up to 8 stages of the Sound), the 4-note paraphony, the 3 different filters, that it’s built in Germany and that I like the Sound from YT videos.

I have one. The Morph Section is unique. Don’t know any other synth with something, which compares, even no plug-in. Morphing can be used like different patches, which we can switch very quickly. Each snapshot can save almost every parameter including filter type and FX. The morphing between two snapshots morphs each parameter in quite an intelligent way. If I compare this to a plug-in used in a DAW and trying such morphing, I wouldn’t even consider to create all those automation tracks, which would be equivalent to the DELTA. It’s so easy. Just create two very different snapshots, or up to eight, and morph with LFO, velocity, aftertouch, or CC.

BTW the digital oscillators are very versatile in their own right, and the digital and analog multimode filters sound great.

For me it’s not a bread and butter sound workhorse, but a go-to synth for special timbres and moods.

Nord G2!

Checked this and I think, it’s not the same
the manual of the G2 says

“ MORPHS
MORPHS allow you to tweak several parameters at once by one physical play controller, like by a Modwheel or the Keyboard Aftertouch. Which basically means that one physical controller will ‘play’ several module knobs at once. Each parameter can have its individual MORPH range. In total there are eight MORPH groups, each associated with its own physical controller. A total of twentyfive parameters can be assigned to the MORPH groups. MORPHS can be instantly assigned and their MORPH ranges adjusted with the panel controls on the G2 and G2X models.”

This describes, what is called a “macro” in other manuals. IMO the morphing of the DELTA seems to be quite different, because it morphs every parameter between snapshots, and there is no macro programming required. It’s provided as an intrinsic function of the patch.

Agreed , that is a cool feature. There’s no auto morphing between the eight variations (snapshots) on the G2.
