My Monomachine MK1 SFX 60’s LCD display does not turn on. Every light on the Monomachine lights up immediately when I turn the machine on and stays lit up until I turn it off, but the LCD display does not light up. How do I go about fixing this?
Sorry if I am missing something obvious, this is my first elektron product.
No expert, but are you using the correct power supply unit that came with it?
If you can rule out external problems such as an incorrect power supply, then it may be that a connector to an internal circuit board has come loose, especially if the MM has just been transported.
You should file a support ticket with Elektron first, but it may be a simple repair for you if you are confident enough to open up the machine.
