Hey,
New octatrack user here. As I’m reading the manual I try out every function as a way to remember. However, I’m not getting the “erase trigs/parameter locks/sample locks in real time” function to work.
I’m pressing and holding [EXIT/NO] + the [TRACK] key of the track i want to erase from but it’s not working. This is all from page 78 of the manual.
What am I doing wrong - any advice?

I think it’s fun+no+parameter knob
[Exit/no] + [Track] should work to clear entire trigs in real time if your in live recording mode, [Rec] + [Play], with red record light flashing. Also in live recording mode, [Function] + [Exit/No] will remove parameter locks, [Exit/No] + Data knob will remove just certain parameter locks, [Exit/No] + Level knob will remove sound locks…
Careful there @PlumWrinkles , what you are saying will clear all tracks of the entire pattern…

In record mode, select the track to erase the trigs from and then it’s:
Function + clear (clear track trigs)
I should not comment without the machine in front of me.
I got it to work now. Many thanks! I just didn’t realise you had to be in live recording mode.
