Quick question before impulse buying an A4

Hey folks that own an Elektron Analog Four MK1:

When editing a track that has recorded notes on it, then pushing and holding a corresponding trig button: does the mini keyboard show you the note that the trig is locked at?

I only know this behavior from my Analog Rytm, which shows the corresponding pad in chromatic mode, which is just wonderfully helpful for my personal workflow …

I just want to make sure it’s similar, so please don’t laugh at the simplicity of my question (or the low hurdle between me now and me buying the A4 )

Thanks in advance, guys.

Yes. It shows chords, up to 4 notes (for Arp or Poly mode).

Just want to chime in that an Analog 4 mk 1 was my best impulse buy last year by far. I’ve gotten quite adept at playing the mini keyboard, too!

It will also show a dimmed version if the programmed note is not in the current octave. It’s really quite clever.

Thank you so much for the quick response, guys. That’s great!

@Nareen303: Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately my heart already belongs to the Mk1 and I already sighted an opportunity to get one for an affordable price.

This community is the best, thanks again a lot!!

If you re gonna ask questions it s not an impulse buy :stuck_out_tongue:
