Question about slicing

hello , im planing to buy digitakt and ive question about slicing . is it possible to slice loop and then pitch idnividual slices without triglocks ?

No, I’ve never seen a way to do that.

I’d also have to confirm it can be done with Plocks but I would assume it can, just that without locking the trigs there is no option in the slice menu for that.

Yeah, it will p-lock any sound parameter by trig, but you can’t play those from the trig keyboard. You can get more flexibility by splitting up sounds across several tracks, or p-lock desired slice parameters and resample for playable slices, but overall the slicing is one of the less flexible things about the DT. I believe the Octatrack has all the slicing features you mention.
