Put Sample length automatically in steps Digitakt II

Hi,

I have some long samples (let’s say between 30 and 60 seconds) from wich I dont know the exact tempo of that I’ve loaded into my digitakt (II).

Is there a way that the digitakt automatically reads it and puts the auto amount of steps that fit’s the perfect length of the sample? Maybe strechtes it a tiny little bit so it fits perfectly if needed?

Any workarounds also welcome. Also to avoid the “cut” in sound when replaying the track with the sample in it.

No, you can’t, you should do this before sending the sample to DT2, with Ableton or other DAW
