I made a note when Step Recording Mode was added to the DN last year, but because I’m lazy I’ve only just now got around to checking it out.
It’s awesome!
Really well implemented, especially for something added recently to an already very full product. If you, like me, haven’t made time to check it out, this is your reminder to do so.
I’m betting everyone’s workflow could benefit from a little step editing every once an a while. Especially on non-Keys models where adding chords used to mean either Live Recording or Track Notes/Quick Notes, the Step Recording method feels like a perfect middle ground.
