Prophet 6, OB-6, Rev2 (Desktops) or Nord Lead A1

Hi all,

A couple weeks ago I posted the “best synth under $2500” thread and I’ve narrowed my choices down to these in no particular order.

Prophet 6 (Desktop)
OB-6 (Desktop)
Rev2 (Desktop)
Nord Lead A1

I really would like a desktop poly (don’t really want/need a keyboard) but did include the Nord Lead A1.

So my GAS is telling me to go for the OB-6 as it sounds fantastic to my ears, but any of these would be great synths. I constantly wonder if the Prophet 6 offers anything “more” than the OB-6 as they are very similar. Also, based on a lot of responses to my previous thread the Rev2 came up VERY often and quite honestly, for about 1k difference it’s definitely worth considering. Finally, I like the immediacy of the Lead A1 and it’s sound palette is pretty varied.

Any opinions on the above and really just wanted to get some of your feedback before making my final decision :slight_smile:
