Hello everybody!

This is my first post so please be understanding. Just when I thought I got the Elektron workflow right,after reading the manual and watching tutorials I came upon an issue that makes me doubt again.
A project is as the manual states, a place where I can save songs, patterns and kits. So, when I got the A4 MKII there was already one project out of the 128 available called Presets. I then created a new blank project thinking that I will have all banks clear and empty, but they are not. Bank A-D is filled with preset patterns and kits. Is that the case with all the other 127 projects that I will create in the future? I a bit confused. Thank You.

Have you definitely loaded the new blank preset, it should be empty, the +Drive won’t be empty it will contain sounds in its own bank arrangement, but patterns ought to be empty, unless you perhaps based the new project on an old one

It should be possible to see which project you’re in if you dig around in the project menu

I saved a project in a new slot instead I should be initializing a new project and then save!
Problem solved.
