Looking pretty !
Let’s say you have 20 tracks in your DAW, of which 10 are beautifully crafted snares.
On the OT you would want those snares on 1 track.
Basses go on another… and so on.
Would be nice to prepare stems and assign them to a track on the OT. Then, automatically combine the stems in one stem that is placed on the OT track.
Waw, can’t wait to listen to this track ![]()
I guess you mean converting the Audio to a sample chain, right?
No, not a sample chain.
All samples overlapped, merged, combined, flattened on top of each other.
1 single track of let’s say 8 minutes full of snares. With a single shot trigger to play it.
I was more thinking of a project manager with 8 arms ![]()
What kind of music are you making if I may ask?
Marching band. ![]()
New Release: v0.38.0
What’s new:
- Memory Settings can now be updated from the app - as part of Edit Mode
- ARM compatible binaries for all OSs

As always, entering Edit Mod creates a backup automatically so you can go crazy spamming that e key (which will create lots of backups
)
Teaser for what’s next :
Snare and bass
I am trying to figure it out: like a very minimal DnB? With 64 snares one shots and same for the bass?
The boxy one is sick, can we use it? I made some quick sketches using the orange color of the software @imacactus, let us know if you have hex values.

Any reason why using the colour Orange? I always associate the Octatrack as black and red. Just a thought - original colours and all that!
First proposal was actually closer to yellow ![]()
The top one is the best one. Dot should be red, but besides that - looks cool.
Yep !
Favorite…
Try with a red circle ?
I also chose app’s colors.
But yes, OG OT is black, red, white and grey!
Looks like the logo of a villain corpo in comics ![]()
