Project Crashed-Missing samples! I might be done with it

there’s next to no detail in your post to help anyone help you get to the bottom of it - you talk about ‘project crashing’ and ‘mysterious crashes’ - is that what you mean or do the samples simply vanish ? did you consider using a mac/pc tool to recover the samples - were the samples loaded to or recorded to the card ? did you use the card on a pc in between ? did you work on other projects ? use third party software ? do you collate your samples in the project or general folder, what steps did you do last time it worked etc etc … details - otherwise it’s best to google here for an analogous prior case (i had not a lot of joy on a quick try … http://www.elektronauts.com/t/tell-me-i-didnt-lost-a-year-work/1591))

[url=“Tell me I didn't lost a year work)”]Just to clarify some:
Yes, I have submitted this to elektron a couple times now. The first time they said they are working on it. I haven’t received a response this time.

The samples just vanish, poof gone. I haven’t tried recovering the samples with a recovery program in the octatrack. I am not sure how I would do that inside the OT.

Most of the samples are recorded to my mac and transferred over later.

I have used the compact flash card on the same mac for a long time now.

I have worked on other projects in between sessions with the “mysterious” one. None of them have any issues at all.

It could be user error for sure, but I generally stick to the same pattern of placing samples in either a flex or static machine, finding something that works and save, save, save. I always work that way. If I did something wrong, I have no idea. Maybe saving three times makes them vanish, ha!
